New season starts in one month. Does anyone follow a team? Any predictions for the season?

For my sins, I'm a Knicks fan.
I'm a bit torn on this season. My head thinks this will be a building season, the players we'll keep in 15-16 need to learn the triangle, Fish needs to get used to coaching and we need to get rid of some of Dolan's legacies to let Phil Jackson weave his magic.
But my heart thinks we can make the playoffs. We were so close last season and we were shocking!
Still, we booked our tickets to NBA all-star in New York this year - so excited!

All-Star weekend in New York should be amazing, enjoy! I think the first six playoff spots in the East are probably already spoken for (Bulls, Cavaliers, Heat, Hornets, Raptors and Wizards in no particular order), leaving the Knicks fighting for the 7th or 8th seed. I would guess that 4 teams have a realistic chance of claiming one of those final 2 spots – the Hawks, Knicks, Nets and Pacers. Obviously, the Knicks have the single most talented player on all of those rosters so the playoffs are definitely not out of the question!

Boston Celtics, on account of the Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parrish, Danny Ainge era in the 80's. the Celtics had a great spell recently under Doc Rivers but are now at the bottom of the re-building cycle. Paul Pierce has become my favourite player of all-time over the past ten years. a real warrior-The Truth. Was lucky enough to see them at the O2 at the start of the KG/Pierce/Ray Allen era.

Tough time to be a Celtics fan! I'm glad Pierce will be on a competitive team this year, the Wizards should be fun to watch.

I'm definitely getting back into the NBA for the start of the season but I don't really know who to support. I don't want to be a neutral because with the conference setup it could get a bit complicated so I want someone to follow. But who? Geographically speaking Boston Celtics are my closest team but I also don't wanna jump on the bandwagon and start supporting the team of the moment

Like Stephen, I'm considering who to support, having myself only got into following basketball properly very recently. I think I'll watch some games before deciding.

Would I be a tad on the optimistic side if I said that I firmly believe that the Celtics could make playoffs this year? lol

Got a couple of tickets for the Knicks v Bucks game at the O2 in January. haven't missed any of the games at the O2 so far. it's a ten minute bus ride for me,. I never imagined being able to see NBA basketball ten mins from my house. unbelievable really.
Had a look at the Clippers v Kings game on ESPN on Sunday. Kings looked good for the first time in ages. DeMarcus Cousins really impressed. the Clippers couldn't handle him.

Joining you at the o2 in January.
Sadly found the League Pass service worked really badly during the week's trial so cancelled it and probably won't see much NBA this season now.

It works ok for me BT Sport show the occasional NBA game if you've tried it yet?
